If you like amazing communication, clean storage spaces, consistent prices, manager or any employees on site at any time , then I would absolutely never recommend this place. If I could give it a negative 10 I could! I wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy. They claim one dollar first month rent, which is an absolute lie. I signed up for a 3 month lease and paid what would be full month rent for all 3. Once my lease was up they continued to charge me monthly at 75 dollars a month which was fine as I was still willing to be in business with them. However after 2 consecutive months of 75 a month they randomly raised my storage price 25 dollars with no warning or explanation, and when I tried to reach the manager big surprise, no answer. It took me a week of consecutive spam calling to even reach an employee and the answer of why my storage randomly spiked was “it just happens”. In my 6 months of renting there I was only ever able to talk to an employee once and it was the prior instance I listed before. And don’t even think of going to the office to talk to a worker because there is a sign listed on the door 24/7 stating manager will be out of office for a bit. And as for cleanliness the place would probs be a 4 out of 10. Big infestations caused by other units (causing me to have to trash thousands of dollars of furniture, decor, clothing, and keepsakes), trash scattered throughout facility, and I think someone even living in one of the units. Circling back to communication I have left an email, text messages, and voicemails stating that I no longer wish to do business with them and moved my stuff out before the first of the month and do not want to pay for an unused unit. Yet somehow they seem to turn a blind eye to all that while I repeatedly get called multiple times a week to make a payment. Mind you I answer those calls to dispute only to be met with a robot that asks me to press a number to speak to a manager, but every time you press the number it directs you to a different robot voice asking for a different number to speak to the manager. Absolutely wouldnt recommend this place even if they paid me ever tell anyone to ever rent from this place. Horrible excuse for a business.
I typically don’t write a review but I feel like I have to for this place bc their costumer service is bad! So I had my card on file so they can just charge me every first of the month and randomly charged me 12.06 back in August. I called them and they couldn’t tell me why. that they would have to call me back. Then in the beginning of September I get charged an extra 22$ for insurance on my unit when mind you I have homeowners insurance they have on file that can be used on my unit. So I call them back in September if they can remove my card bc of the random charge that they still can’t explain and will have to call me back on, and now getting charged for insurance when they said I didn’t have to pay it if I had homeowners insurance. So today when I go in to pay for October I ask if there was anything they can do for charging me more last month and he said “no” Then I asked how bout the 12$ random charge and he said he would have to call me back again which I know he is not going to. So be careful doing business with this place bc they will overcharge and just randomly charge your card if you put it on file. I can’t wait to get another unit else where. This is why they get 2 stars bc I need one.
This is the worst place I've ever used for storage. They take more money than the bill is supposed to be & no body ever sends me a message with a confirmation number or thanks. They don't have a number to talk to the owners not though internet or an address to reach out to. I've complained to the better business brough. They contacted the very same guy i was complaining about. Watch out they change start taking out more & more money every few months
Edit* Ever since the new owners took it, its gotten really bad. They broke into our unit, TWICE. And they Had the audacity to tell us it was our fault for not being there everyday to check the locks. Isnt that what we pay you the most expensive prices in town to do? Store literally anywhere but here. These guys are lying theives, and they will laugh in your face about it. It USED to be good. Used to be. Love this place, have used it for years. Grant always takes care of us. Not too happy about the intense hike in pricing from the new owners, but Grant always does his best. Thanks for being awesome guys.
We had a cross-country move and couldn't be more pleased with Jennifer's assistance. She had everything ready for us and was extremely helpful. The storage unit itself was clean and allowed for easy access. We're grateful for this easy move-in experience.
