We’ve rented U-Haul trailers twice from this location for roundtrips between Delaware and Pennsylvania and have been consistently impressed. The first time, Scott (the general manager) helped us. He was concise, informative, and patient, which meant a lot because too much information tends to give me brain fog. He listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and was kind enough to be flexible with our return time when unexpected obstacles came up. His professionalism and kindness left a lasting impression. Our second rental started yesterday and didn’t begin as smoothly. The employee on duty was polite but seemed reluctant to assist, repeatedly directing us to use the app even after we explained that we needed help reserving a specific trailer for early pickup. Eventually, she processed the transaction, but when we arrived the next morning, we discovered we’d been double charged. Fortunately, that’s where things turned right around! A different employee, Ny, was on duty, and she was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, understanding, and eager to help. She immediately contacted Scott (on his day off, no less!), and together they resolved the issue quickly and graciously. While the initial frustration wasn’t ideal, Scott and Ny’s incredible customer service more than made up for it. They’ve earned our full trust and appreciation, and we’ll continue renting from this location. Highly recommend!
Barbara GehringNot only got a good discount for my unit, but was treated professionally (and nicely) by both Scott and Cody. Highly recommend. Update August 2025 - After three months, I needed to move to a less expensive facility. I rented my U-Haul truck from Scott (again, a very good experience), and moved out. Upon move-out, I found some live spiders and a couple dead mystery bugs in the unit. I would recommend Rt 24 Self Storage to anyone looking for short-term storage, but would caution them to visit the unit every week or so to check for insects (the reason I subtracted one star.)
