Pack-rats paradise!
I looked at 2 other facilities prior to Smart stop and I am sooo happy the other places didn't have what I needed because this place was top notch! The price is very fair! The office is super clean. Tim who set me up was so helpful and thorough and just a super nice human!! He made my day! The grounds are clean and easy to navigate through. My 10 x 10 unit has lots of space. Thrilled with my new drive up unit!

Thrilled With Our New Storage Unit
We're moving to West Dundee and after some research we decided to rent a storage unit at the Algonquin Smart Stop Self Storage. Great decision. We rented a 5 x 10 first floor interior unit and moved our stuff in. All went smoothly and both the indoor and outdoor areas were immaculate. We were also pleasantly surprised how much room was in the unit. We'll be bringing more things to store. Thanks to Schuyler for all his help. Since we're moving into a one bedroom apartment, this was really the way to go for storage!

She went above and beyond to make sure I had exactly what I needed, answered every question with patience and kindness, and truly made the entire experience feel personal and easy. The facility itself is spotless, well-lit, and feels very safe. Pricing is fair, access is convenient, and everything is clearly explained with no hidden surprises. Kevin M.Went in to provide ID and sign papers and the person working the counter would not provide a price beyond the introductory rate, which would last “between 3 and 5 months”. Would not even ballpark the monthly cost of keeping my things there and acted like I was being unreasonable for wondering. She said “you don’t know what gas prices will be in 6 months”, which for some reason she thought was equivalent to a storage place being unable to tell a customer what their own rates are. Feels like a bait and switch.
