My storage unit was broken into, and I’m extremely upset. While the staff has always been friendly and helpful, there is clearly no real security at this facility. There’s only one security camera near the elevator, which means you’re completely in the dark if anyone breaks into your unit. Needless to say, I’ve now installed my own cameras and an alarm system inside my storage unit until I can move out. I expected much better security and protection for my belongings. Sadly, I’ll never use Extra Space Storage again and do not recommend this location to anyone looking for a safe, secure storage facility.
