After renting here for months at a time--on two different occasions--I had to leave feedback so that others would be able to make a well informed decision for their own renting needs. Let me start by saying that I have always been apprehensive about the idea of leaving my precious belongings at a separate location from my home. It doesn't seem logical to me because of possible theft, vandalism, or any other type of natural calamity. But I took a chance because I desperately needed the room in my house. Well I'm glad I did! Because 1-800-Self-Storage in Melvindale helped change my thinking on this and put my mind at rest. The safety and security measures they have in place offer the peace of mind I was looking for in a facility. Multiple levels of security reassure the customer that their valuables are safe. And their employees are a large part of that experience. They are very helpful and courteous too. The manager, Amber, was especially helpful as she walked me through the process and handled my every concern with patience and respect. I was pleasantly surprised.
