I looked for a very specific unit to rent that was outside with a garage door only! I am disabled in a wheelchair and and a outside unit was specified only. I was rented over the phone I was told an outside unit with garage door. Volunteers picked up my things went to facility gate code worked to enter facility. Workers looked for the unit I rented #0257 on my contract. That unit number was not found where call center described it was apon leasing unit In fact they searched the entire complex for unit #0257 thatwas not found as requested i can only rent outside unit with garage door only. At this point the workers left to search other facilities in the area looking for a unit #0257 now passing up the U-Haul time limit on its rental caused by not able to find. My rented unit the workers returned to the facility my gate code worked and found a unit with two of the numbers in my rented unit number and proceeded to put my stuff into that unit because it had a green tag and a lock in it like they said it would so I thought they had the wrong unit listed with nowhere to go with the stuff in the truck and now the truck being charged double the rate and no one answering any phone calls from the call center or anywhere from this facility or affiliates or service centers I was left no option but to put my stuff in the de-open unit that there was available upon calling Monday morning I was informed that my unit was inside another building on the property through it through a door and it's unmarked they told me there's no markings that my unit was in that building they said that the driver would have to literally open doors and go in buildings to find it That is exact opposite of what I thought I was rented from an outside garage door only now it's in a side of a building through a door unlocked that it's in there. The unit is $75 more than the one I originally rented that I can't afford being on social security disability. They're not saying it's my fault.
