You have to provide proof of insurance or get forced to buy their expensive policy. I went to pay and nobody was on site. I was texted about being charged a late fee for nonpayment. First of the year the fees were raised up by ~ 50%. No notification about the pending raise. "We sent you an email about it" ok, what address did you send it to? "Ohh you don't have an email address on file." Exactly, so why didn't you text me like before? "Well email is primarily how we contact you." You sent me text before, why not now? Blank stare and "anyways you now have to pay ~50% more today." We had purchased a brand new recliner and placed it in storage only to find a dead mouse under a support pillow. The smell is so bad I may have to throw out the expensive chair. Not a friendly atmosphere, very abrasive. Update: owner has reached out with a response asking me to email them. I guess they must of missed I don't do email. Give a call or send a text.
Storage Sense, more like Nonsense AC unit for entire building stopped working about a month ago in climate controlled section of storage units on the property. Been told they’re waiting on owners approval/won’t be a month or more until it’s fixed? During the hottest months of the year…. I understand that things can break down but the humidity and heat is really bad inside the building. It seems to me the owner is dragging their feet on this after so much time has passed. Also better communication from the office would be appreciated as I had to reach out about the issue and was a disappointing conversation to say the least. I paid for a climate controlled unit and this is not it. Reputation is everything and prospective tenants should be made aware of these kinds of issues and how management chooses to deal with it, one way or another. Please do better! Update: coming into end of September, months with no action or communication; HVAC still hasn’t been fixed. Still hot and humid in the building. It’s been two months! In fact they sent an updated contract saying in no uncertain terms it’s not their problem. So I’m paying for a climate control unit with no climate? Give me a break. Treating people like garbage like that. Not surprised at this point. To highlight just how bad the humidity is here, review the photo below of dehumidifiers I used in my unit. If you want your stuff ruined and to be treated like a hindrance when asking for basic service, this is the place to go.
I rented from Storage Sense previously, and was happy with my experience. When it was time to rent this time they were my first choice. Good pricing, easy access, and prompt communication from staff.

I have called numerous times and no one will answer the phone (during posted open business hours). I keep getting pushed through to a survey on how well the customer service rep helped me. Terrible way to gain business.
