I tried to return my lock 3 days in a row and there is never anyone in the front for service. Everytime I call I get sent to voicemail. I love everything else. But as far as customer service it sucks.
They didn't clear the snow, so it was impossible to enter or use the warehouse. I had important things to pick up.
Where to begin. I posted a bad review in October for my experience at West Babylon NY location. A district manager named Luke called me to discuss and said he’d like to try to make things right and give me a refund back for my last month if I took the bad review down. Which I did. My sister posted a good review instead. As of today January 8, 2026 I haven’t received a check. I have called many times to advise I have not received a check. Apparently incompetence is Public Storages middle name all around. My bad experience was I closed out my account and had my last boxes in my car exiting the facility in West Babylon, NY. I kept entering my code to exit and gate would not recognize it and open. We tried calling, texting, doing everything gate instructions and online suggested. We were LOCKED IN. My sister went to try to see if any employee was in facility. No one was but finally with blowing horn and continuous calling and shouting Nicole came. We told her we were locked in and she told us we were not and stop shouting!. She advised we cancelled so code no longer valid but no one told us that previously and how were we supposed to exit ( fly over the gate)? She was extremely rude and condescending. I would be warned that customer service is very poor all around here. I strongly suggest you try Cube Smart.
Meredith was extremely professional and wonderful to work with. She made the process to rent my storage unit very easy. I really appreciate her exceptional customer service!
Meredith gave us great service and went out of her way to make sure our stuff in storage would fit. We thank her for commitment to customers and service. I could have closed and moved my unit closer to my complex and decided to stay for her great personality and knowledge. In this day and age good service hard to find! Thank you!!
I was having a bad experience but I got ahold of Meredith at Public Storage and she was amazing. She stayed on the phone with me through my frustrations and walked me through every step. She resolved multiple issues and just flat out gave me outstanding service. Thank you Meredith!
