Realized after i booked one location, that another was even better.. called and changed! Met with Alan - paperwork was fast and simple- got a lock- he walked with me to find best unit. I would use this facility agsin!
First of all, I would like to say that the people who work here are amazing.They are great with communication and just are overall amazing people. My problem with this location is that what they advertise as climate control is not always climate controlled. If you're going to leave your items here, please do not do so for an extended period of time. I've had my items there for 4 years.And it was not until recently that when I went to remove my items from the storage unit, that all of my items that were decades old ended up having mold sprouted from them. This location is not climate control.When you walk in, it is stuffy and your items will suffer after a long period of time. They do provide coverage with your monthly rent.But please understand that they will not cover your items that are covered with mold unless they find a source of where it came from. The people with the insurance are once again amazing people. The people are not at fault.It is the location and conditions of the building that is at fault. So if you are going to go to this location, please be aware. And do not leave your items here for an extended period of time.Otherwise, your items will most likely be covered in mold. The pictures below are pictures of my items that are made of pure wood that are completely covered in mold. Please use your discretion when looking at this place.
STAY AWAY from this place!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD!! First off I stored with them for a couple years and there was always something broken. The side door most of the time did NOT close and this left the building unsecured, I brought this to the attention of the Manager at the time multiple time and it was shrugged off. The overhead door used for loading and unloading was out of order MANY times and took weeks to fix. Key pads were out of order and took weeks to fix. Bathroom out of order and disgustingly filthy when it did work. The current Manager at the time of this review lied to me repeatedly concerning a credit card charge that to this day has never been refunded. I have documented all my calls and text with this location and have reported it to my bank as Fraud. I moved out 1 week prior to billing and notified about this and was told I would not be billed anymore (lie 1). The day prior to what would have been my billing date I received a text informing me I had a new unit # and when I called her she said it was a glitch and I would not be billed (lie #2). The next day I was billed $129 and I immediately called and she said she had no idea why I was billed and would refund (lie #3 did not refund). I spoke with her at least 4 additional times and was told to wait for the refund. As of the date of this writing there has been no refund. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Pretty decent facility. They usually have good introductory rates and from what I've seen they have some of the best rates in town. The staff is pretty nice. They kindly let you know if you accidentally put your lock on incorrectly and if you may have forgotten to pay your bill.
This facility has had a FLOOD on 1/19/2023 that's left everyone with 14 inches of water in their unit. There has been no further contact or any way to get in contact with the company since the initial notification that there was flooding. DO NOT GO HERE. To say the least, it's been terrible customer service, no phone number or email works and of course their pipe busting, causing the flooding, is not their responsibility. The negligence on their part is astounding. If I had been allowed in sooner, I could have prevented some of the mold damage I'm now dealing with.
Negative stars should be an option for this location. My husband rented a unit to move all of his childhood keepsakes from his parents home since they were downsizing. We went there to move everything to another facility last week and found that not only had there been theft, but also a flood that left everything that wasn't stolen molded. There was no notification that either had happened (not that it would have changed things, but that's just the professional thing to do). I'm sure public health should have this place checked out because who knows what other units might have mold growing in them because tenants did not clean out their destroyed items. When my husband called, an apology wasn't even offered (again, professionalism). Moral of the story: never rent a first floor unit or from a place that does not care about security or have someone on location.
