Made a reservation online in the evening. Received a call from Sonny the next morning to confirm. Process of renting is extremely easy. Happy that is has 24 hour cameras and a locked gate.

Great so far
Clean, good price (maybe even great!), extremely friendly, helpful, responsive on-site manager. Only "hitch" so far is interior bay lighting: hall lights are motion activated / timed and no lights in bay. Take a flash! If you forget, it can get very dark in a hurry :) Note: if you get an interior bay, the access to the hall and bay is by standard-width hinged exterior door -- whatever you couldn't get through the front door of your house can't be stored in an interior bay! :) :)

Cole TrainI rented a storage unit at Hilliard South Self Storage for 9 months. I needed the biggest one they had to store my 35 foot long tiny house before moving it to our newly purchased land. The unit was 50 feet deep with a 14 foot high door. It even had an electric hookup for RVs inside the unit! It rained and snowed several times during my 9 months of renting there. None of my stuff ever got wet or had any issues from the weather. The unit was brand new and very secure. Security cameras were everywhere to monitor any potential issues. There is a large steel security gate that requires a pass code for entry. There are only 2 storage facilities in the Columbus area that have an indoor unit this big (I called all of them to check). The other one is in a bad neighborhood and it was more expensive so I gladly chose Hilliard. They were running a 3 month special at Hilliard South Self Storage that made it even more affordable. Laura is the manager at Hilliard South. She is very nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend Hilliard South Self Storage to anyone who needs to store anything. They also have smaller units of various sizes that are very nice and just as secure.

The 14ft high doors make it easy to put shelves up to store all my stuff.Having the option to use electric is also a plus.The security and property being so clean is why I moved from another storage property to here. My unit has electricity and a motion sensor light. The grounds are always well maintained, the manager is very helpful and I would recommend Hilliard South Self Storage to anyone.
