I have already made a google review, but I had such a wonderful experience with the on site manager, Stacy M. She made me feel so comfortable and secure with storing my things and went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful.

Quality: Poor. The doors don’t have stoppers to hold open as you get to your unit. Our unit has a damaged mechanism. Experience booking: Poor. The listed price misses a lot of additional fees, so add anywhere from $30-50 extra dollars on your listed price. If you want to opt out of their fees, there’s a complicated process that they really try to talk you out of. First access and service: Poor. There was no accurate map to locate our unit. And no one works at this location full time, so I had to walk around trying my best until I learned there’s a kiosk to access with a live agent. Service: Poor. I received frequent calls when setting it up. Then, I got a random call saying they had an important message about my unit- no info. Called the number they told me to call back. The person I could connect with has no idea what they’re talking about and couldn’t confirm I even had a unit. Still don’t know the problem. I won’t be renting from here again. 2 stars because technically I’m storing my stuff. Let’s hope it’s safe.
Public Storages process for setting up, calling to make a reservation and the ability to just talk to a human being was a horrible experience. There was no reservation time saved even though we had called a week in advance, we talked to several different individuals finally who all told us something different on what was going to happen and how to complete the process in general. The only reason that we are giving Public Storage three stars is because once we were able to get ahold of Stacey who was the manager on site at the Dublin Sawmill location, she was great - accommodating, helpful and gave us the directions that we needed to get set up with a rental. If you choose Public Storage - your experience will finally be worth it once you get ahold of a great manager like Stacey was!
I just had a billing problem with the storage units I rent at Public Storage Dublin. I talked to Stanley. He not only resolved the problem in very short order and got a late fee eliminated, but got me a payment reduction. I have been renting a number of units for a long time--ever since PS bought out the Dublin facility. I have high praise for PS. The facility is well-maintained and always clean. Staff is still acceptably accessible by phone even after discontinuing permanent on-site personnel. I have always been able to reach someone within the day and have gotten my concerns addressed. This time it was by Stanley--he's great. Ask for him, if you can.
I want to thank RJ for going above and beyond to help me with my recent storage/lock issue! He drove 15 minutes from another location to be able to help me ASAP in person with the issue I had. He was so helpful, professional, and kind, and he deserves a 5-star rating with every review!! Thank you, RJ!!
I reserved a climate controlled unit but, when I went to store our items, discovered the unit assigned did not have AC. Upon complaining, Public Storage assigned me a larger, climate controlled unit at the same monthly rate, and they said they would reimburse us for the cost of the lock for the previous unit. Three and a half months later, I received an email from Public Storage stating that our monthly rate would increase to more than double the original rate (and we never received the reimbursement for the lock). An over 100% rate increase is excessive in my view. I complained through the BBB, but Public Storage declined to adjust the rate. I will not use Public Storage again and advise others to avoid using this company.
