No complaints with the persons I've spoken to on the phone and enrolling me on auto pay so no issues. There needs to be an active employee monitoring the facility though. I would be willing to clean up amd clear debris left trash taken care of etcetera. Contact me if you need a person to do that.

I had a unit from 2021 until 11/31/2025. When it was weather side storage it was great! Then addition bought it got no notice never signed a new contract my rent went from 70$ to 128.90 and the end of Oct 2025 I got a letter my rent was going up over $150. That was it the place has no real security, no one is ever on site. When people leave they have to pile all their trash, unwanted items all over the place. (The dumpster was removed and never put back) broken down vehicles along the back fence. Nov 1, 2025 I paid my bill called back and gave my 30 day notice. The person I spoke with didn't provide me with any exit instructions she just said ok. I was out on 11/31/25 by 6 pm. I even sweep my unit floor and them got all the cobwebs off the walls. I lost over $1,000 of my property due to dirty that blew in under the door, rodents chewing , dying on my stuff and rotting into what it died on and the temperature changes. There is no spraying the units for bugs and rodents. Also last summer people were living in a until so there was even more crap all over. Starting 12/2/25 we have gotten repeated messages requesting payment , we were past due on the rent . Long story short the day I gave my 30 notice the employee did not document this info on my account. Everything was handled on that call so we thought. The 12/30 we get a text stating a lean was placed on my bank account. That has now been removed but they changed me on 12/2 I do not and have never had auto pay nor did I call an authorize anyone there to chanrge my account. It's a nightmare to the point if we don't get called back on Jan 2 I am hiring a lawyer . Also when I called 12/23 I was pressured to go ahead and just make the December payment since nobody had documented my 30-day notice. They had already charged my account and been paid for December it is a mess it is horrible I will put my stuff in my barn before I would ever put in one of their units again. The sad part is I put a four-bedroom house in that unit I left with boxes and three pieces of furniture the rest I had to take to the junkyard due to the road issues and the others that I listed above. I rented that unit because I was very ill and in the hospital for a long time had to have two open heart surgeries had a very long recovery. So we rented it it was an emergency so to lose all my furniture and decorations and other belongings was really sad. I lost so much that I was able to put it in a unit at my new storage unit that I think it was like a 9x9 or 10x10 it's like half of a regular sized unit. I really wish West Side storage would take it back over because the people that took this over now are slumlords.

Friendly staff. Rented my unit about 5:00 and was told I could use it that night. I went first thing the following morning and there was a free lock waiting. Unit was spotless.

The Addition is a wonderful storage facility. Acquiring my unit and payment for the unit is very easy. It is easy to contact a live person if I have an issue or questions. Definitely recommend The Addition for all of your storage needs!

I've really not had an issue with anything other than the gate not getting closed. It's a good place to store your stuff
