We were walking away... Let me start at the beginning. We arrived at 9am because we didn't know they open at 9:30. That's when we were walking away. Then we heard someone calling to us. We went back and Melissa was gracious and wonderful. I should also add patient - we had no idea what we wanted. Melissa walked us through the spotless facility and showed us different size units to compare. I really have to stress "spotless" (and patient). Thank you, Melissa! If you hadn't been there early and went the extra mile to call us back, we would have a storage unit somewhere else. We appreciate all your help and understanding.

I have had my storage unit with this facility for one year as of the middle of this March and they have already increased my Monthly rate twice! When I called about the first rate increase, I was told that the online pricing was a discounted rate and it had expired and the rate I was increasing to their regular monthly rate and was told that I shouldn't expect another increase for a while. I signed up at around $73 per month online. I don't recall anywhere online stating that it was a limited promotional rate, but that's neither here nor there. It was probably hidden in some extremely small print. Now they want to start charging me $117.15 per month, just a few short months after the last increase, for just a small 5'x15' unit. At this point, I don't even think the few small households items I have in there are worth keeping up with this payment. I mind as well just let them go and repurchase. This is such bait and switch garbage and I'm sonutterly tired of businesses taking advantage of people. I'm out of state, so I can't exactly just stop by and move my stuff to another storage facility right now, but I will make the drive if necessary, just on principal. This is not how you keep customers and I most certainly will not be referring any friends! The staff had been nice but this business practice it complete garbage.

I highly recommend Space Shop in Massillon. Working with Melissa and Andrew will be a breeze. The process to complete the paperwork, a clear explanation of where my unit was and how they protect and inform is things at my site need my attention. I’m well pleased with my interaction and choice to use this location for my storage needs. Look no further, ask for Melissa and Andrew. Great people! Great Location.

I have been storing items for not even a year at this storage unit facility. I have received two substantial price increases in this allotted time. They claim they don’t lock renters in to their initial price agreement and send increases out periodically to match the market (which I never received the second notice) - well there are other facilities that DO lock you in to a yearly rate, with a percentage increase each year (most places are 3-5%). This place is a scam, who advertise a decent rate and then hikes the prices up once your items are there. Save yourself the money and find a place that locks you in to a rate. My unit went up 35% in less than a year.
