Heather, who works in the office and oversees the property is fabulous! A remarkable human, so kind and helpful! She did a fabulous job of explaining the way all the different types of rental units work. The unit I rented is listed as a 5x10. I brought a tape measure, it falls short of the 5 ft by at least ½ a foot but the website does state that measurements are approximate. The facility is built next to a sand and gravel pit, so outdoor access units may get dusty. It's just a fact, not anyone's fault. It is a very convenient location on rt2 though! Right near SweetSpot dispensary and a Mobil gas station, Dunkin Donuts and a bunch of good restaurants including Celestial Cafe for fine dining, Taste of China Exeter, and a fabulous little deli restaurant that I can't recall the name of. Might be 501 Deli... Anyway, I would recommend the place, but I also know that they do eventually start raising the prices. My daughter has had a Cube Smart unit in Wakefield for years and the price goes up fairly frequently. I'd suggest taking advantage of the deals that are offered for monthly discounts and free first month and so on when available! Be aware of all the extra fees though, unit insurance, purchasing lock, admin fees, etc. The first month isn't actually free in the sense that you have to pay those fees up front. If you're reading this review, I wish you the best. Having to rent a storage unit often isn't under the best of circumstances, but have faith in yourself that things will improve! If you're renting because you just bought a house or are moving for renting for other positive life circumstances, then congratulations to you!

Heather made the process very easy over the phone beings I was in NC and the unit was for our daughter, who is a college student that needed the unit for the summer break. When I got there, to meet her in person, she was also very helpful and answered any questions I had and made us feel very comfortable with our stuff being stored there.

UPDATE! Heather meticulosly hunted down her superiors to ask them to right this wrong. (Margaret, Sr Manager, Becka ,District manager) all in agreement to honor the initial quote and lower monthly rate to $166 down from $198. I love the unit and am very impressed by the professional response. Thank you all! I was very meticulous about renting this particular site. Paperwork was properly submitted, all pertinent info given in detail that this was to store a vehicle. Price quote was $166 per month. Slam dunk. Extensive prep to vehicle was done .Heather, site manager was lovely... until...I noticed right at signing,the contract was for $198 per month. A total change. Was not notified or informed of this. She stated " My fault, I made a mistake. I had you in a unit with a 6 inch lip. You cannot get the car into the unit so I had to change that unit to a more expensive one". ????? There is no doubt Cube Smart should honor their quote. I now have to wrangle with the district manager who is on vacation until Monday. Very disturbing.. Update coming.
