Although this unit was a bit of distance from my house getting there was straight forward. I have other units but no one has had the efficiency and customer service I received here. Walked me through the facility, showed up make sure it was clean and processed my lease in 15 minutes. Excellent. Would highly recommend.

My name is Tracy Haynes and I had the distinct pleasure of renting a storage space at a relatively new Self Storage Plus facility located at 43014 Little River Turnpike, Chantilly, Virginia. The on-site manager named Kevin Kimmel is the best storage facility manager I’ve ever worked with and I’ve rented a number of units throughout my life. He is a terrific communicator and professional in every way. Kevin was completely honest and straightforward in his business dealings with me, extremely knowledgeable RE his facility and all aspects of the business, thoroughly documented and immediately sent me electronic copies of our contract and all relevant facility information, and equally important, was just an extremely nice person. I highly recommend Kevin and this facility to anyone looking for a fair rate, a terrific facility and a very professional, knowledgeable and decent on- site representative.
Anderson ChurchI never write reviews and especially as a business owner I know it’s impossible to please everyone. But this place is the worst. Spare yourself and don’t even think about renting here. They are all holy jolly ready to help when you want to rent a unit. But you want to cancel your unit? Forget it. You will never get in contact with anyone and they will keep charging you. Not to mention a million other things including not fixing the gate that has been broken for close to a year at this point leaving access for anyone to drive right in. Spare yourself the trouble.
Jackie TschidaThe process to purchase the unit was very easy and convenient. However, when I went to the unit, it was zip tied. I have been to the office and there is never anyone there and calling customer service doesn't give you a live person. I'm considering cancelling my unit and moving to a different location.
Justin BeltWorst storage experience I’ve ever had. I was assigned unit #3804, and when my movers arrived, there was already a lock on it. My movers had to leave without completing the job, and I was charged double for moving services because of their error. When I contacted customer service, I was told to just “pick a random unit and put a lock on it” — which is completely unacceptable from a liability standpoint. No accountability, no real solution. To make matters worse, the facility is only open two days a week, there is never a manager on-site, and there is no real path to escalation. I sent a formal complaint email and have still not been contacted by anyone. If you value your time, money, and belongings — look elsewhere. I will be following up with the appropriate consumer agencies as well.
Prem BNIts the best experience at the Chantilly office. The Manager was very helpful and knowledgeable and we really like the way he helped us with registration process and all other things at the storage unit. I would recommend this friendly place to others.
