When I arrived I inputted the access code and stored away my belongings in my unit with such ease and confidence. I highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a place to keep their property in a secure unit for the duration of their purchasing.
I appreciate the pricing of this facility and like the incentives they give to new customers. My only contention is that the app won’t open the gate or the door, so I’ve opted to just punching in my code.
I really don’t like being asked to leave a review of any place right off the batâ€â€I literally JUST moved my stuff into the unit yesterday. I’d like some time to see how things go first. Which is the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. That being said… so far the experience has been very good.👠The whole place is very clean, very secure with redundant security measures (which I appreciate!) and the price for my size unit is very good. It’s in a decent neighborhood, no sketchy surroundings. They have carts available to use for no extra charge.👠I was a little worried about the unit being on an upper floor, even with elevator access as I’ve got back issues and more. But with the carts and elevator I had zero problems. When I checked in with the manager (I believe her name is Rose) she was very friendly and very helpful. I liked the whole process of being able to find what I needed and do everything online without any hassle or gimmicks or tricks, including up front pricing AND being able to just go ahead and pay for the unit if you want to… or just reserve it so you can go take a look in person before pulling the trigger. The ONLY thing I’d recommend so far is that they give you a MAP of the building your unit is in. It’s like a maze inside with so many units per building and no signs indicating unit numbering. Other than that, my overall first impression is very good and worth leaving a preliminary review. If that should change… so will my review.
6 months ago my unit was broken into from a vacant unit next door. They cut through the metal wall! The manager Rose told me not to worry as they knew who did it and they no longer had access to the facility. And they had them on video. I said did you call the police or should I? She said she thought they did. So I called. The police showed up and we went back inside. All of a sudden Rose new nothing. I lost all of my out door gear skis boots tents backpacks, all of it. Today I go go my unit and the same unit next is wide open. I called and asked for it to be secured and was told they don't do that because people rent online and are granted access without ever seeing a person. Do not rent from the lying bunch of incompetent people.
I had my entire household of furniture and belongings in storage in two units with Extra Space Mount Lake Terrace for two years. Rose was wonderful to work with. She truly tried to help me keep prices in check and worked as an advocate for me. I just moved everything out of my storage units and was pleasantly surprised at how clean the units were. There were no obvious spider webs or dust bunnies floating around. The storage facility truly seems to be kept clean which is really nice. The only negative was that sometimes the door to the facility would break and NOT close which was a bit worrisome, but management always seemed to fix it. I recommend this location and was very happy with my experience.
This was a start of a good think then the rent went up alot also, on one unit. We had to move due to the fact that the city of Lynnwood was taking out place, eminent domain so the city can expand the water treatment plant. And the notice we got was when we sign papers is when we have to move out. So didn’t know for sure until it happened. So was not able to give the storage any time prior to moving out. So on Nov. 18 the took out 239.00 and on Nov. 20 we had the unit empty and cleaned. Went in and told them we had moved out. They will not prorate the unit cause they didn’t know ahead of time. I’ve never had an issue like this and I have rented many units. Rather I give them a heads up or not I’ve always have had it pro rated. Especially being two days. They are making a killing especially if they already rented it out. And still have a unit there that I still pay for. Gonna try and fight this . Will never rent again from them and looking to get my other unit cleaned out and moved. Unless they make it right.
My mother past away recently, and I needed to find a storage facility for some of her items. I reached out to a community group site for recommendations. Extra Space Storage came up with possitive feedback. Not disappointed.
Always helpful front desk, clean, secure, much better than other nearby facility options I have used, storage is pricey everywhere right now so with this place as least you get what you deserve out of your money! Highly recommend online reservations, it was a very easy process! But as I said front desk is super helpful as well so I’m sure all ins are easy too.
There are two easy ways to secure a unit at this storage facility
